Indeed is a horrible app and some of the employers that use indeed to post jobs are incompetent. In my opinion they are. Well indeed is not doing a very good job of vetting/verifying the companies that are posting on their platform.
Who's behind Project 2025? Some have racist writings, background
Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors. I'm vp of operations at an outpatient surgery center with a master's degree in healthcare administration. I’ve seen so many people say you never get jobs from indeed.
I’m trying to find a job as i’m a student and literally cannot afford to live, but every job has 400+ applicants and my application is never even.
I’ve seen so many complaints about it. I can confirm these scumbags are selling user information. I will agree that indeed needs to do better in filtering out the fake jobs, but they are a business so i highly direct that. I’ve mostly given up, am focusing on getting my promoted where i am now than searching fir something.
In fact the job i got after covid layoff was on indeed. I've had lots of luck on indeed. Can’t tell you how many scams i’ve encountered in indeed and linkedin jobs in the past 6 months. Without writing a wall of text, i’m sure you guys have read 100x before.
I made an indeed account over a year ago, but have hardly used it since then as i will instead use linkedin or just go directly to company websites to find.
Indeed specifically will show you jobs you are indeed not qualified for and if you even use the filters. Indeed is not the scammer, but they are the conduit to the scammer. I have literally applied to 900 positions in my field in the past. I know indeed is a legitimate website, but does anyone actually get jobs from applying and sending a resume through indeed?
Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings,.
