Hi, i want to run gpedit as administrator. Msc is missing in windows 10 when i type gpedit.msc in run by pressing win+r it showing windows cannot find gpedit.msc. I at one time used a 3rd party program to add group.
To see applied group policies in local group policy editor (gpedit.msc) 1 press the win + r keys to open run, type gpedit.msc into run, and click/tap on ok to open local group policy editor.
Just to note, that while you can enable the local group policy editor (gpedit.msc) in windows 10 home, it will not actually work to apply the policies in the registry. When i type gpedit into search and right click on gpedit i am not offered an option to run as admin. My windows 10 acc is admin so i don't get it why won't windows let me edit gpedit. First i was getting the error that i can't access the gpedit because i'm not admin.
